Palo Duro Canyon ~ October 1998
We went to Palo Duro Canyon State Park on October 10-11. This was our first campout without either Jim Wise or Jim Shultz. Elizabeth and Sam Graham, Beth and Richard Cox and Vera Peterson were the adults in attendance. Everyone had a good time. Here are some pictures of our trip to downtown Canyon Texas and their authentic old-time Soda Fountain.
As you can see, Ryan, David and Rock were happy to be at an Ice Cream palace! Looks like a good time, doesn't it? The leaders found it hard to believe that none of the boys had been to a soda fountain before.
As you can see from the size of the banana split, the boys are pretty good at eating sweets!
