We went to the Quartz Mountain State Park in Oklahoma on 9 to 11 Jan. These are some of the pictures from the campout. We got to see the Lake Altus Dam while a lot of water was being released. We went rock climbing and found a neat cave. Unfortunately not everyone is as clean in the outdoors as Scouts. There was trash all around. If we look cold, we weren't. We were "prepared" with heavy clothes, thermal undershirts, sweatshirts, etc. The Scoutmaster is Jim Wise, always prepared for cold weather. The Committee Chairman is Sam Graham, a great supporter of all kinds of youth activities. The ASM is Jim Shultz, great outdoor cook (we eat some really fantastic meals) and a good teacher for Scouts
