Camp Perkins

We went camping at our local Scout Camp on the 14th to 16th of August.
This is in the Pecan Grove Campsite - a nice place!
Our tents were set in a shaded area under the Pecan Trees
We settled down after the ferocious monkey was caught.
Cooking is the best thing we do!!!
We even have help from family members.

In the Axe Yard
Walking from Texas to Oklahoma ~ We finally crossed the Red River by foot!
This is fun!
When Julia showed up ~ The boys listened ... and showed off!
We had fun, but our Orienteering was cancelled when another troop came out and pitched their tents in the middle of the Compass Course.
We went to see the Red River, and there is hardly any water in it. We were careful of the quicksand (actually its very, very slowsand).
