Information on Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Preserve

In September the Troop went to the Wichita Mountains Wifelife Preserve located a few miles north of Lawton, Oklahoma and immediately north of Fort Sill.  We did quite a bit of hiking,  lashing,  first aid and of course .... eating.

Enjoy these pictures of the boys and they comb the wilderness of the Wildlife Preserve.

A simulated emergency and first aid care to complement our recent First Aid Merit Badge course conducted by Assistant Scoutmaster Tony D'Urso.  We need some more work!

The boys went on quite a hike through the preserve and were able to see a lot of wildlife not normally seen back at Sheppard Air Force Base.   Of course,  boys being boys,  they worked up quite an appetite.  On the right, David, Lance and Josh clown around ready to create a real injury for the Troop to work on!

Doesn't the Scout Law say something about ......   clean?
