We went to Quartz Mountain State Resort during the weekend of February 19-21. Five boys attended and had a great time climbing the mountains, competing with another troop and exploring caves. An added attraction this time was watching Mrs Graham cook and eat crawfish that Sean, Mr. Graham and Mrs. Graham caught in a local creek. The weather was really great, the skies were clear and it may .... just may have almost touched freezing in the morning.

While we were walking down the hill we found a new cave .... all six feet of it. Would be a great shelter in a storm, but we didn't know if we'd like sleeping or getting under that big rock!

Mr Graham and the boys posing for a picture perfect look of the land surrounding the Quartz Mountain State Park. It was pretty windy up top .... and after a snack of military MRE food ... we were ready to descend.
